THE IAN MUIR SOUND

One of Scotland's most popular bands on the Scottish Country Dance and Ceilidh Dance scene, the Ian Muir Sound is busy all year round.

Ian Muir, Neil MacMillan & various drummers form the nucleus of the Ian Muir Sound for general gigs.

For broadcasts the band is augmented by Susan and Scott Gordon.

Besides playing all over the UK at functions with a Scottish flavour, the band has played on Scottish theme Cruises for the famous P&O Cruise line as well as Scottish Dance holidays in Spain, Majorca, Cyprus and Portugal.

Ian Muir has appeared many times on TV in shows like 'Thingummyjig', 'Welcome to the Ceilidh', 'Shindig' and more recently 'Northern Nights'.

Ian and his group of trusty musicians have recorded many albums over the years, most on the Bryansroom Label.
